File text all replaced with NULL
I have a text file on my desktop that had my to - do list on and I went to open it up yesterday and now it’s just all been replaced with multiple NULL NULL NULL.
I googled it and found one somewhat relevant thread elsewhere that said it may be the result of not shutting my laptop down properly ie I held the power button down to force it as I was having issues with waiting on the usual way.
But I’m quite sure I had already saved all my tabs in n++ so I dunno why that would have anything to do with it…is my file recoverable?

could be, depends how your windows/notepad++ has been configured.
Windows supports copies by using vss (??) service - means if you can right click
on the file there should be a tab which provides access to a previous version.
If you don’t see that tab, you don’t have configured it.
Notepad++ has also some kind of functionality - backups.
