Notepad++ v8.7.2: in a world of Elon, be a Zelensky

What kind of person can use such an arrogant and contemptuous attitude to insult a country that fights to protect its freedom, democracy and national dignity?

I used to be a big fan of Elon Musk. Like most people, I admired many of his ideas and all his achievements, waiting for the day when humanity could land on Mars. But all these illusions about Musk shattered when he expressed support for Trump.

I am not against Trump; I am just against any form of fascism, racism and misogyny. Trump is merely a product of American populism rebounding in an extremely left-wing environment.

To clarify, this version is not an “Anti Elon Musk” Edition - the name of this individu is not worth commemorating in a version of Notepad++. I just need an outlet to vent my anger.

Nevertheless, in a world of Elon, be a Zelensky.

I can’t compare with Zelensky, but no longer using the X platform owned by Musk is something I can do with my own modest power. A couple of days later, the account of Notepad++ on X will be canceled. We move to Bluesky. Anyone who rejects Musk as much as I do is encouraged to do the same - leave X.

“Pin Tab”, one of the most requested features, has been introduced in this release. It’s enabled by default, but you can easily disable it via Preference dialog. The look & feel of tab bar have also been improved by hiding the close & pin icons in the inactive tabs.
