Notepad++ v7.9 : Stand with Hong Kong

The Stand with Hong Kong Edition continues with the 7.9 release.

Mass protesters in Hong Kong are being arrested under National Security Law, the justice system is corrupted by favoring pro-Beijing decisions, people are watched and threatened by their own government, and police brutality is getting worse. We may not be in Hong Kong to support these people who fight for their own freedoms, but we can be aware of the severe situation currently in Hong Kong. That is the least we can do.

I do not consider the Stand with Hong Kong Edition to be a “political” edition. For me, this is about the right for people to choose the way they want to live. This is about freedom and human rights - universal values for everyone. If you are against such principles, you can still use v7.8.8, or stop using Notepad++, your call. Please show your continued support for the people of Hong Kong and for truth and freedom by installing the latest v7.9 release.
